Baked Spaghetti with Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 7 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 24 oz red pasta sauce
  • 24 oz mashed potatoes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Cook ground beef until fully browned. Drain excess fat and set aside
  • Cook spaghetti to al dente per packaging instructions. Drain water and return to pot
  • Mix ground beef, red pasta sauce, and spaghetti until well blended
  • Pour contents into a nonstick 9×13 cooking pan and top with shredded mozzarella cheese to form a thick layer
  • Cover with tin foil wrap and bake in oven for 40 minutes
  • Cook mashed potatoes per packaging instructions
  • Serve spaghetti over mashed potatoes and enjoy!
